Yes, I'm absolutely serious about building a 1000cc Diesel Thumper. Why not ? Yes, Royal Enfield (India) build a 500cc diesel thumper. Runs 800 km on one tank, top speed about 80 km/h, if I am correctly informed. That is a bit slow.
The fine thing with a diesel, Steve, is that you can run it on linseed oil or other agriculturally produced oils, as soon as our idiot-politicians allow it. THIS is really an eco-thing !
Porsche has made a 1000 cc single diesel engine, mostly used in tractors. I'm going to buy one of those and then... Hope your business goes reeeeally well !!
